BUS - TRAIN LIGHT RAIL AUTO  FOOTPATH

Found A Wallet

This morning, after everyone had left the No. 74 bus 8:12 from Paterson to Newark, I spied a billfold on the seat.

Turns out there was no money or ID in the wallet - which appeared brand new.

In fact, the only item in the wallet was a Zone 2 Dec. Intrastate Bus Pass.

I seem to remember that one passenger who sat in that seat got off at Belleville Avenue - probably to grab another bus ... until he found his bus pass missing.

And the other person who I seem to remember sat in that same seat got on the No. 74 at Belleville Avenue.

The odd thing (to me) about this bus pass is that it doesn't have a price on it ... so it was not purchased at a TVM. The only serial-like numbers on it are five zeroes followed by 9694 - FORM 7602

I feel bad for the person who lost the billfold and the ticket. I feel even worse if that person got a ticket for not having a pass. But, hey, what can you do?

What would you do? Drop us an email and put in your two-cents!
